From gas cooking to air frying with an air fryer . There are new developments in sustainability every day. The DWRS label is also trying to pay more attention to our planet in its own way.
We all know that the fashion and footwear industry has a significant impact on the environment. As a footwear brand, we feel responsible for this and contribute to environmentally friendly practices. At DWRS label, we do this by operating responsibly as much as possible. Every step in the right direction is important and essential! Sustainability is a very relevant topic within our company, and we want to take further steps in the future.
Return costs
At DWRS label, we believe it's important that you love your new shoes. However, sometimes you might not be completely satisfied and want to return your order. Because we want everyone to shop responsibly, we charge €4.75 for returns. The fashion and shoe industry has a significant impact on the environment, so we feel responsible for being more mindful of this.
Manufacturers and materials
In collaboration with certified factories in Portugal, we work hard to ensure the collection is produced as sustainably as possible. We select our partners there, as well as our suppliers, ourselves. This ensures that the materials are qualified and increasingly recycled. We have samples made from residual materials from previous productions to ensure minimal waste. We then use these residual materials for future collections. In this way, we strive for 'zero waste'. We carefully assemble the collections in the Netherlands, but we monitor working conditions during visits to the manufacturers.
Shoe Care – Sustainable care for your DWRS items
We've been adding a shoe care line to our collection for a while now, specifically to extend the life of your DWRS items. This way, you'll have to replace your favorite shoes less often and enjoy them even longer.
Our products are biodegradable, made with natural materials, and water-based. This means no harmful chemicals, just effective care. So you can confidently apply an extra layer!
Review
By leaving a review on our webshop , the next buyer will know exactly how the product fits and your help can help them make better choices !
You can also sign up for a restock notification in our webshop. This alerts us when demand for a particular model is high and we can then instruct the manufacturer. This way, we try to minimize overproduction as much as possible.
In addition, you will be rewarded if you keep the shoes and you will contribute to the sustainability of the DWRS label.
